Our Regions

The Olivet Assembly congregations in South Africa are divided by nine regions. Churches, as well as a variety of ministries, are gathered by region under the leadership of the regional headquarters. The regional headquarters are normally located in the most populous or transportation hub in each region to serve numerous churches and organisations. Mission strategies and administration are facilitated by the regional Olivet Centres to maintain, develop, and expand their member bodies in useful collaboration and communication.

Regional Headquarters formulate diverse projects and programs to develop a sense of community among pastors, ministers and missionaries within the region. They also cast regional vision and future while mediating the national goal towards God’s Kingdom in South Africa.

Region representatives and leaders join the regular meeting with the staff of the National General Office. The annual meeting is convened at the end of October by an invitation by the General Office in Johannesburg. The map above presents how those regions within South Africa are divided. Congregations and ministries grouped in each area promote strategic mission development aligned with region characters.

Eastern Cape

Eastern Cape includes churches in the area of Eastern Cape. The headquarters for the region is Bhisho.

Free State

Free State includes churches in the area of Free State. The headquarters for the region is Bloemfontein.

Gauteng

Gauteng includes churches in the area of Gauteng. The headquarters for the region is Johannesburg.

KwaZulu-Natal

KwaZulu-Natal includes churches in the area of KwaZulu-Natal. The headquarters for the region is Pietermaritzburg.

Limpopo

Limpopo includes churches in the area of Limpopo. The headquarters for the region is Polokwane.

Mpumalanga

Mpumalanga includes churches in the area of Mpumalanga. The headquarters for the region is Mbombela.

Northern Cape

Northern Cape includes churches in the area of Northern Cape. The headquarters for the region is Kimberley.

North West

North West includes churches in the area of North West. The headquarters for the region is Mahikeng.

Western Cape

Western Cape includes churches in the area of Western Cape. The headquarters for the region is Cape Town.
